Cookie statement

Cyclovac-Shop (Het Onderdelenhuis BVBA) makes use of ‘cookies’ when offering its electronic services. A cookie is a small file that is stored on the hard disk of your computer in order to be able to recognise you when you visit the site again. These cookies are only used to make the use of the website easier. You can set your browser to notify you that a cookie is being placed or that the collection of cookies is not possible. However, you will then not be able to use all the features of the site. To do so, please use the following manuals: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.

The domain name under which the cookies are stored is www.cyclovac-shop.be. Cyclovac-Shop is the owner of this domain name. The period of validity of the cookies varies from the length of your visit to unlimited. The storage and forwarding of your data via the internet are secured. You have the right to access the personal data collected from you by means of cookies and to rectify and/or delete these data by sending an e-mail to info@cyclovac-shop.be. Cyclovac-Shop does not collect personal data via cookies.

If you fill in and submit a digital form, it will be stored digitally in our backup for 1 month. The reason for this is that we want to be sure that your form has actually been received by us. If this is not the case, we can still retrieve your form via this backup. In that case you do not have to fill in the form again.

Functional cookies:

Our webshop places a number of functional cookies that relate to the correct functioning of our webshop. These cookies are placed by management system WordPress and webshop system Woocommerce. These cookies do not contain any privacy sensitive data.

Tracking cookies:

No tracking cookies will be placed.

Analytical cookies:

Via our website, a cookie is placed by the American company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service. Cyclovac-Shop uses this service to keep track of and receive reports on how visitors use the website and in this way improve user-friendliness. Cyclovac-Shop does not see who (or which PC) visits the website. However, as provider of the service, Google can provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Cyclovac-Shop has no influence on this. Cyclovac-Shop has not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

The information that Google collects is made anonymous as much as possible. Your IP address is explicitly not given. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google adheres to the Privacy Shield principles and is affiliated with the Privacy Shield program of the U.S. Department of Commerce. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Cyclovac-Shop has concluded a processing agreement with Google, masked the last octet of the IP address, switched off ‘data sharing’ and does not use other Google services in combination with the Google Analytics cookies.

More information about the Google Analytics cookies can be found on the Google Analytics website.

Third party content:

Our website does not contain direct content from third parties, such as widgets, plug-ins or embedded content. Only when paying online will you be redirected to the secure payment environment of KBC or PayPal. A processing agreement has been concluded with both parties. KBC and PayPal may not use your details other than to process your payment to Cyclovac-Shop. In addition, our webshop contains an automatic link to the newsletter system MailChimp. After completing an order, your e-mail address is temporarily added to our mailing list; only after your approval will your e-mail address actually be included in the mailing list. This is done by means of an opt-in e-mail that you will receive from us.

“Our website includes buttons to promote (“like”) or share (“tweet”) web pages on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. These buttons work by means of bits of code that originate from Facebook and Twitter respectively. Cookies are placed by means of this code. We have no influence on this. Please read the privacy statements of Facebook or Twitter (which may change regularly) to read what they do with your (personal) data that they process via these cookies.
